About Me

Hello.

I'm Bel, the person behind the pictures, owner and photographer of Photos By Bel based in Hobart, Tasmania.

Mum to two beautiful boys, the sweetest little girl, wife and photographer.

Photography graciously fell into my lap after having my two boys. We invested in our own family photos (one of the best things I have ever done), and I fell in love with what had been created for us. Memories of a hazy time in our life between a sleep defying toddler and a second pregnancy were eternalised and now looked back at fondly.

Being a teacher with an instilled love of learning new things I picked up a camera and never looked back.

I love photographing love and connection between people. Rarely looking at the camera, just immersed in each other, with the people you love doing things that you love.
